Mondays With Meredith Ann

Can you believe it's another Monday ?
We are already into mid October
and the leaves they are falling.
I, as you can see, went to the beach place, again.
Mom took this photo of me working on my blog.
A feline author
 never takes a real rest.
Maybe I do but with one kitty paw ready at all times.

After my weekly photo shoot,
I wrote down the events
 of the week.

At the beach, we had excitement.
Mom heard a splash.
The birds don't normally make that loud a noise.
Ends up we have a seal in our front waters.
Here's Mom's photo.
She didn't get a great shot
but I was with her and can verify
that we do have a
floppy big fishy in our front yard.

 Later, it rained a lot.
We have a big covered area
so Mom & I sat in a chair while it dripped.
We saw a big bird fly into our tree.
This time Mom got a good shot of it.
She says it's a crane.
The next day, the gate guy came.
He made a new one for us.
(you can see the old blue hinges)
Mom likes to keep the girls
(the big dogs) in the yard.
Dad took this photo.
Oh, and this time Mom brought
my Silly Snowshoe Siamese sister
and my orange brother.
You know him as the one who chases me.
We actually got a long this time.

I'm home now
resting.
Lots of napping going on.

Mew at you next week,
~ Meredith Ann ~

Hi Meredith Ann! It sounds like it has been an interesting week, what with going to the beach house and then seeing the seal and the big crane. It sounds like it was a great trip (especially since your brother didn't chase you!) We hope you have a great week!

Greetings dear Meredith Ann,

So nice to see you up close and especially next to the laptop. It must be hard typing one letter at a time with ones paws, as I find it not so very easy and always misspell a number of words.

The big bird is a Blue Heron, if dad's memory is still good.

Looks like you all have had an interesting week and the gat to keep the dogs safe is very beautiful.

Wishing you all a great start to the week,
Miss Kitty and Egmont

Meredith Ann you always make my Mondays get off to a good start. Hope your day was as "purrfect" as mine.

That's a lot happening outside your front door.

Oh Meridith Ann, I wish you could teach my Purnima to write her own blog. I think she's cute, but she's kinda slow, if you catch my drift. Do you get to partake of the nip when you go to the beach?

Does Meredith Ann get extra cat nip for her work as a writer? She is adorable. I really like that gate, was it specially made?

Blue herons are always an amazing sight, even though I see them often here at our place. They remind me of pterodactyls.

We love the big bird ... but I guess it will be too much for all of us to handle!

Meredith Ann - you are one very hardworking blogger and deserves a good rest and treat every now and then! Humans - they slack!

Love Lucky & Co.

What a cool gate! Looks like you had a great weekend. Enjoy your week.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
