Purrfect Thursday In The Woods

This meowning I have an orange helper
He looks better don't you think ?
His fur is almost normal
I am so hoping that his illness was a one time thing
Mom's like to do that when their beloved purr balls get sick
Until the next time ... which I hope there won't be ... I'll pretend
That nothing is wrong with my beautiful orange baby boy

Yesterday, while refilling bird tv
I broke it
Yes, cable is out
Gone ... not even hanging from the tree
The two big squirrels ... the reason I got a new fancy feeder
They jumped on it and I think they sort of broke it
So, when I opened it to refill
Well, screaming could be heard in the woods
It was a bit of a shock to this old lady
When food fell
EVERYWHERE

I will be trying to fix it
I looked all over the very wet ground
No spring e things found

Maybe ... just maybe ... I'll have to venture
off to that bird house / food place

The one that costs a lot
But is so much fun

No ducks yesterday or today
Maybe he romanced her and they are off
To live together forever
And, to think my pink petals did it

Now, my helper .. Riley ..
is behind the puter
Maybe he can tell me where
all those cords go

Oh he is looking good - and so beautiful! We are always hoping that all our kitty and doggie friends don't get sick again, once they are better.

It it too bad the bird feeder broke - squirrels are crafty and always try to get in no matter how tough they try to make them.

And yes, hopefully the ducks are off somewhere having a happy life together.

I have to take my Hocus to the vet today. He is slowly loosing weight. On an eighteen year old cat that is never a good sign.

Hope you can fix the feeder.

Hi,
It has been awhile since I visited many blogs.
Decided to do a quick visit to say hello to as many blogs as possible tonight..
Nice to visit your blog its been ages, I am sure it will not be so long again especially now my life is getting better.
I went out this afternoon for the first time since 19 August 2009 and it was brilliant.
Lovely to feel my world getting bigger again after all this time in bed.
Have a good evening and a pleasant day tomorrow.
Love,
Herrad

Riley is looking good- ears perky and eyes bright. As for bird TV, you gonna splurge on one of those Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder? for example:

What a handsome fellow! He looks exactly like my MIL`s cat Maxwell.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
