Ashton
on Toes & Tips of Ears Tuesday
Well, I had a fun weekend
Really
I did ..
On Friday we watched a show called
Ok, so it doesn't sound Grand yet but I'm leading up to it
On that show he was going to cool local restaurants
This time he was visiting
Seattle
Yep, my sort of close
Part of the world
Mr. Boatman who lived around here his whole life
Says, 'I've never been to that place. Let's go tomorrow'
I about fell off my coushy couch
A date
Did I hear him right
He ran, ok not really, he skipped
Over to his puter
Looked up the Hamburger Joint
(You can see the part we saw)
So, on Saturday afternoon
I went driving to parts of Seattle
I never knew existed
Parked down a road
where two guys were racing cars
in a dirt lot
Stood outside
while waiting in line
Cute, old, cash only, burger joint
We took it to go and ate in the car
While watching the guys
who were now four
Race their cars
around the bumps of dirt
I will probably never go there again
Couldn't find it if I even wanted to
Now, I've been to one of the places
You had to go to before you died
That wasn't the end of the date
I'll tell you more later ...

Those little out of the way diners make *the* best food...! Now I'm hungry. :-)
We usually prefer the little holes in the wall. An unexpected date. How nice.
Wow that sounds like fun - I always want to try the places I see on tv that are around here (and all over the country too) but we almost never get around to doing it.
Yay for burgers and date night.
I love that pic Ashton! Hey, I smell burgers!!!
Sounds fun!!!
Cute toes and ears!!
Those are the best places..we are addicted to the Food Channel or any food shows!
Ashton definitely has cute toes and ears. Sounds like a neat hamburger joint!! What fun to find a place recommended as a cool local restaurant!!!♥
Very cool, sounds like good fun. And what cute ears and toes :0-
Good for you and Mr Boatman. It is about time for you two to let those pesky kids stop getting in your way!
Ashton reminds me of my Tony whom I lost last year! Cute stripey boys. And Meredith looks very pretty on the masthead!
I wish that was there when I lived in Seattle. Which one did you go to - Phinney Ridge or Queen Anne? Actually the QA one is between Queen Anne and Magnolia in Interbay. I grew up on Queen Anne Hill. Lived in the 1600 block at the top of the hill. It sounds like a fun place to go for a date!
How nice to be so spontaneous and to discover something new and delicious!
Webster ~ we went to the Lakebay Red Mill. At least I think we did ... the one near downtown Seattle area.
In that photo, Ashton looks to be smiling ;)
I love diners
and unexpected dates :)
