Thank you for visiting and following my blog. I'm in my 50's too at least for a couple more years. I really enjoy your blog and you are right rock and roll never ends. We were supposed to have a quick fix siding job done. We did bids. Hired a nice fellow. He tore down most of the old siding almost two weeks ago. Tells me he doesn't have a tall enough ladder to do the job. He tells me a story about how he works with another co alot. Over a week goes by with their ladders in my yard. My siding sat in my front lawn for a week. All waitng for someone to put it up.
Yesterday, a couple of guys who spoke Russian put my siding up. The original co. had hired another co. to do their work. All the time telling me that this new co. worked with them all the time. No, they didn't.
The new co. thought I was ... the name of the other co. That was a hoot. They didn't know who I was.
Anyway, while listening to Russian music those two men put my siding up in one day.
I will never do business with the original co ... who I am sure, will try to add on to my bill ... of which I will not pay.
Wouldn't you like to hear me tell them off ... if they charge me extra ..
Thus, I was doing a Happy Dance today when the original co came to clean up my yard.
Now, to get it painted ....

Dear jC. I love the look of your blog and I am getting tired of the linear look of mine. How do you do it? Give me some tips to improve the look of my blog. No copycatting allowed, I know. I'm just a beginner.
Ha Ha Webster ... the original guys that I contracted with. Like I said, it ended up being a bit odd .. it looked good in the end though so ... paws crossed .. there won't be any trouble.
Lori ... I switched to the Minima Stretch template.
I added Playlist for music.
Added Traffic feed and a counter
You can get them by clicking on them for the site info.
I also have gone into my html and changed sizes of columns ... but not with this new stretch one.
Next I'm going to try to stretch my photos which you do by going into the html of the post.
I get my info from different help blogs ...
If you right click when you are in a blog ... and click view source ... you can see what html code they have

To get rid of the lines around the header photo .. you just match the color to the color of your blog
