The Exception

I just watched the movie,

He's Just Not That Into You

I liked it.

A chick flick for sure but it was better than I thought it would be.
I have to admit I did buy the book.

It was mentioned on Oprah and well let's face it, if Oprah likes you, who am I not to follow.

My Hubby ... better known as ... Mr Boat Man ... just left on a jet plane. Don't know when he'll be back late Friday night again.

Thought it would be a great night for a $4.99 movie on the tellie flat screen.

I came away with this ~ Don't we all want to be someones exception ...

Here are a few quotes ~

I just need you to stop being nice to me unless your gonna marry me.

He's totally gonna call.

I had this guy leave me a voicemail at work, so I called him at home, and then he emailed me to my BlackBerry, and so I texted to his cell, and now you just have to go around checking all these different portals just to get rejected by seven different technologies. It's exhausting.

He MySpaced me. Ouch! Oh. Oh girl I don't know about that... My trampy little sister says MySpace is the new booty call.

I'm at the beach house ... we came down here last night. It's on the way to Cannon Beach. We will be there for Sunday and Monday ... Monday is my actual anniversary. That was Mr. Boat Mans idea.

I did a few advanced blogs ... this being one of them. I watched this movie last week ... while Mr. B was on a travel week. Nothing like a chick flick while the Mr. B is away ...

I'm having my coffee and Mr. B and I are both checking our laptops ...

I haven't seen it or read the book, but it sounds really funny. Have a great anniversary :-)

I hope you have a great anniversary! I just watched that movie a couple of weeks ago! Loved it...I think a couple of those things actually happened to me once or twice!

My hubby and I sit side by side and do our laptop thing together as well! Sometimes we play online scrabble and then complain about the lag! I like spending time with him no matter what we're doing. It's always better with him.

We just watched that movie, too. I liked it but I loved Love Actually. Have you ever watched that one?

hehe I enjoyed the movie and I also bought the book. I, being single, got a lot of good advice from that book. I literally live by those words...."if he's not_______, he's just not that into you." I just fill in the blank depending on the situation I am in. I hope one day I become the exception.

I've been wanting to see that one too. It hasn't gotten particularly good ratings. Probably because the critics are always men;) I enjoy Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, and Drew Barrymore so I'm sure I'll like it.

Happy anniversary.

We watched the movie too the other day and thought it wasn't that bad. Mom asked in the rental shop for something like Bridget Jones and they gave her this. We adore Scarlett Johanson!

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
