I need to look at this ...

"Man that is a cool egg", said the girl as she walked by the glass case. With her hand being pulled the other way, she turned to look back.  "Let's go", was heard from the tall fellow. "Wait, I need to look at this", was what she replied. Letting go of his hand, she leaned over to see the details.

A bird flying off. A man letting it go. The house and trees in the background. Dark and light at the same time. What had her Mother said, "Let a bird free and it will come back".  No it was,

"If you love something set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was."

Yes, that was it.

When she was in college, her roommate had a poster of that saying on her desk. "So true", she thought. She had been struggeling with her young man back then. She took the posters advice and let him free. Years later, she didn't even think of him. Well, she did but not a lot. Now, though, the memories of letting him go, flashed over her.

"Yeah, that's nice but too dark don't ya think", her tall fellow said to her. "Well, yes, it is", she replied while walking away. After one last turn of her head, she left the aisle, and just like she had let that college love, she was letting this egg and it's memories go.

"So what were you saying", she said turning towards her tall fellow. "What do you want to eat?" he laughed as he looked at her.

been there, done that...learned that letting go was the right thing to do and looking back can often times be the biggest mistake one makes. Honest story.

Yep, sometimes you gotta just let go. Lovely Magpie Tale!

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
